ConsumerAffairs

During my time at ConsumerAffairs, I worked in content marketing, launched the company’s first email marketing team and served the company’s news team as managing editor. The majority of my work was writing UI/UX copy and developing content strategy for the company’s wholesale web property redesign.

Buyers guides and careers site

ConsumerAffairs’ buyer guide content was the backbone of its site, netting approximately 7 million site visitors each month. As UI/UX technical writer, my role involved strategizing with the Product and Content teams to present buyer guide copy and how-to articles in a manner that was intuitive, informative and dynamic. We decided to group guides by life events in a gallery-style design. For the careers site, recruiting candidates who were a good culture fit was a top priority, I worked closely with Talent & Culture stakeholders to craft a brand voice we felt accurately portrayed our company and our ideal candidate.
