K20 Center for educational and community renewal
As the K20 Center Creative Writer & PR Specialist, a primary function of my job was to write, photograph and publish feature-style stories on Center programming for public school administrators, teachers, staff, students and families. These stories were critical to documenting the success of grant-funded initiatives, exemplifying the kind of work our project coordinators did for public schools, and help make the Center as a whole more competitive in securing continued grant funding.
Site functionality improvements
I also helped design and implement improvements to the K20 Center site, particularly the staff directory. Organizing and clafifying the backgrounds and project assignments of staff members made them more accessible to public school personnel they worked with. It also helped establish the expertise and credibility of K20 Center staff and leadership, making it more competitive for grant funding.
Print collateral
I worked with grant project coordinators to write and help design print collateral for events and fundraising campaigns like this:
